Jubilate Vision and Mission
Our creative talents are gifts from God and are an extension of His
creative nature within us. Therefore, all art forms should point us back
to their Source. Jubilate School of the Arts, Inc. was created to equip
the body of Christ in creative worship. This includes spiritual and
physical formation.
The staff at Jubilate School of the Arts is dedicated to restoring the
arts for the glorification of the Lord. We believe that dance, drama, and
other art forms can be used for both worship and sharing the Gospel.
Currently
Every spring Jubilate School of the Arts offers a two day worship dance
conference sponsored by Edenton Street United Methodist Church Music and
Worship Arts Council. It is held at Edenton Street UMC,
in Raleigh under the leadership of Domini Boling, director of Jubilate.
The event draws dancers and dance teams from many different
denominations and non-denominational churches. The next one is scheduled
for March 20-21 2009. Mrs. Domini, as her
dancers call her, desires to see all the arts and Christian artists work
together to further the kingdom of the Lord.
Other Jubilate activities include short instructional sessions in
various dance techniques and local outreaches. Instructors and former
students of Jubilate School of the Arts minister through the dance in
other venues including mission work and/or conduct their own dance
ministries. For further information
